Dilly took to her Instagram Stories to detail her latest hospital trip. She looked fresh-faced as she filmed herself chatting and admitted her experience was “barbaric”.

Dilly said: “I cannot tell you how horrible Saturday was.”

She went on to describe that due to the stress of the hospital dash, she had even developed a sty in her eye!

Dilly explained that in wake of the visit, she underwent a CT scan to check out why she had been throwing up and not feeling well.

This showed that she had a blockage in her bowel, that she would have to have drained via a tube inserted through her nose.

She said: “It was barbaric. That is how I felt on Saturday. I felt like I was having a barbaric treatment. It was just disgusting.”

I was shaking and sobbing.

She continued: “I was being sick whilst I had stuff coming out of my nose and out of this tube, which was then syringed into the bowl I was being sick in. It was absolutely vile.

“I was shaking and sobbing. I was distraught.”

The star exclaimed: “I felt like I had been through the most horrific thing in my life.”

Although Dilly’s experience was traumatic, she did take the time to thank the NHS team who treated her.

She paid tribute to what our NHS go through and added: “I was in an NHS hospital and I was very well looked after.”

Dilly had also admitted: “So my bank holiday weekend in Brighton didn’t quite turn out.. my stomach wasn’t playing ball. I had to have it drained due to a blockage making me sick.

“I’ve actually been quite traumatised by the process so haven’t been able to focus as I currently still have a tube up my nose and directly into my stomach draining excess fluids… it’s been a while since I’ve been speechless.”

She added: “But this literally has taken my breath and speech away it was such an ordeal.”

Despite this, Dilly also detailed that being back home has had her feeling “one hundred percent better”.

The Sort Your Life Out star had also shared a snap of herself in hospital at the weekend, showing the tube inserted in her nose whilst laid in a hospital bed.

She shared a lengthy update with her fans in the comment section.

Dilly on cancer battle

Dilly wrote: “Just a shout out to all those with ongoing health issues post cancer, post any major illness. I see you, I feel you, I know how exhausting and draining it is. You are not alone.

“Lean on your friends and family, your health professionals and trust that whatever they are doing, no matter how hard it seems, how big that mountain ahead seems, you can climb it.

“Find the small wins in everything. Look for those, even in your hardest moments and hold onto them. Even when they seem impossible to find.

“I feel much better than I look. Once this tube is out today I’ll be home and back to normal. Thank god I manage to keep my pyjama game strong even at the low times.

“And as always, don’t ignore any gynae related symptoms no matter how small you think they are. Please prioritise your health and get seen. Follow the @eveappeal if you aren’t sure what’s right or wrong with your body.

“KNOW YOUR NORMAL. Because you don’t want to end up with issues that can’t be treated because you left it too late.

“Our health is all we have! Anyway… I’ll be home today. Bank holiday weekends are overrated anyway.”
