Holly Willoughby thrills fans with rare photos of lookalike mum and gran

We can see where her good looks come from!

We’re used to seeing Holly Willoughby’s face on our TV screens each week, but she usually keeps those nearest and dearest to her away from the cameras.

Until now, that is!

The This Morning presenter, 36, thrilled fans on Monday by sharing rare photos of her mum and grandmother to Instagram – and it’s safe to say the Willoughby gene runs strong!

Joining her mum and nan for an early Christmas lunch, the popular TV host posed for three generations of selfies.

In one snap with her mother Lynne, the resemblance was uncanny!

Fans were quick to lavish praise on the mummy-daughter duo and tell Holly they understood where she gets her good looks from!

One wrote: “I keep saying she’s not old enough to be your mum. Surely a sister?”

Another said: “Good looks clearly run in your family. Beautiful!”

A third added: “Beautiful family.”

However, there was another treat in store for fans soon after, as Holly uploaded a second photo, this time posing with her granny.

Holly captioned it: “And the chief girl of the family… my nan!”

One fan told her: “Lovely photos, it’s clear to see that the beauty genes have been handed down from grandmother to daughter to granddaughter.”

Another agreed: “Gorgeous genes, starting with your nan! Absolutely beautiful all three of you.”

It’s been a very family-orientated week for Holly.

Just a few days ago, she snapped a selfie while hanging out with elder sister Holly, whom she penned a series of children’s books with called L’Etoile: School For Stars.

And she spent the weekend enjoying the snow at home with kids Harry, Belle and Chester.

She shared a sweet snap to Instagram showing the trio running around their snowy back garden with, as always, their backs to the camera.

In a recent interview with Fabulous magazine, Holly said her main goal in life had always been to have a family.

“I feel slightly guilty about the fact that I work Monday to Thursday and the majority of the time I don’t work in the afternoons, so I get to spend an awful lot of time with my kids, whereas other women don’t,” she said.

“I’m lucky I have the choice to be able to do that.”
