Love Island SPOILER: Adam and Kendall on the rocks over her “insecurities”

Has his head been turned by newcomer Rosie?

Love Island’s Adam Collard has told Kendall Rae-Knight he is questioning their coupling because of her insecurities.

The gym owner admits on Thursday night’s episode he “can’t deal” with how insecure Kendall is, especially after the arrival of new girls Georgia Steel and Rosie Williams.

Adam stole Kendall away from fellow islander Niall Aslam after the first coupling, when he came in as a late entrant and was given the power to break up a pairing.

But it seems he’s starting to have second thoughts…

Adam makes his feelings clear when Kendall quizzes him on what he thinks about actress and dancer Georgia and solicitor Rosie.

He tells the Beach Hut: “I didn’t realise how insecure she might have been especially with me, I thought she’d have a little bit more confidence in her so, to be honest, it might be sort of grinding on me a little bit.

“I think the next day or so I’ll see where that’s at but I can’t deal with that much insecurity, there’s only so far you can go.”

Adam goes on to defend Georgia and Rosie, who managed to ruffle the ladies’ feathers just by saying hello.

He says: “The new girls have just walked in. They’re not bad at all. I haven’t really had a chance to speak to them at all but the looks are there.”

Georgia and Rosie arrived on Wednesday evening: the women were banished to the villa balcony and could only watch from afar as the men threw a drinks party for the new arrivals.

Adam initially told Georgia and Rosie he was happy in his coupling with Kendall.

But that now seems to have changed…

He admits in the Beach Hut: “I feel like now, since everything has changed in the villa, I just feel like flipping the whole situation on its head and just going for someone completely different and out of the blue.

“I know I probably could with one of the girls.”

Well, Adam seemed confident the other night Rosie fancied him…

He decides to take the plunge and chat to Kendall, revealing he is worried that her “insecurities” are impacting on their coupling.

Adam says: “If I’m honest with you, alarm bells are ringing in my head now. I never normally push this hard to try and make the girl feel comfortable, ever… I’ve done nothing to make you think that I would pick someone else.”

Kendall replies: “I am just insecure. I think Rosie has come in, she’s really attractive, I know you two are going to get on…”

Love Island airs 9pm on ITV2.
