Emmerdale fans blast soap over repetitive Lydia episode ending

Fans aren't happy with the unoriginality

Emmerdale fans have been left more than a little frustrated this week after feeling like they’re watching the same ending on repeat.

In Wednesday night’s episode of Emmerdale (September 20), Lydia confronted Craig, branding him as a rapist. Then last night (Thursday September 21) she once again had a showdown – this time with Samson – and ran out crying.

However fans are now getting a little fed-up and have blasted the soap over the repetitive Lydia episode ending.

Emmerdale: Lydia confronted Craig

On Wednesday, Mandy started to become suspicious that something wasn’t right with Lydia.

Meanwhile, Lydia went to work and she started cleaning and rooting through Craig’s cupboards. However, Craig then turned up and explained that he would be working in the office all day to be close to Lydia.

He was concerned, believing that she was avoiding him. Furious, Lydia then told Craig that he’d raped her.

Craig responded by remaining in denial, explaining that he loved Lydia and would never hurt her.

Lydia then said that she was quitting her job and demanded that Craig ended Samson’s work experience. If he didn’t, she’d go to the police.

Leaving the office after confronting Craig, Lydia burst into tears as she departed.

Thursday: Lydia cries again!

By Thursday night, Lydia continued to push against Craig. When she encountered him arriving for a meeting at Home Farm, he tried to intimidate her, insisted he loves her and wants to be with her.

She was clearly terrified, but stood her ground that he must end Samson’s work experience.

Craig did as she asked and Samson was left fuming. He laid the blame firmly at Lydia’s door. Lydia ran out only to receive a text from Craig telling her he’d sacked Samson and including a heart emoji and three kisses. Vile.

Lydia burst into tears again, screaming and crying on her own outside, unable to contain herself.
