Westlife star Kian Egan has announced the arrival of his baby son Cobi with wife Jodi Albert.

This is the couple’s third son as they’re already proud parents to Koa, five, and Zeke, two.

Expressing his excitement to be a dad again the singer told fans the news on his Instagram alongside a snap of little Cobi’s teeny tiny feet.

He captioned the black and white photo: “Our little cub is finally here! Cobi Egan was born yesterday at 5.37pm.. mummy and baby are doing amazing!!! We are all so in love with him!!!”

The snap shows Kian cradling the tot’s little toes.

Fans rushed to comment on the post and congratulate the couple.

One said: “Congratulations to you and your lovely family.”

“Congratulations, such a lovely pic,” another added.

A third wrote: “Congratulations on the birth of your little boy! I’m so happy for you all.”

Jodi and Kian tied the knot in 2009 and welcomed Koa two years later and Zeke in 2015.

Kian, 37, announced the news that they were expecting their third child back in March this year.

The Westlife hunk shared a photo on Instagram showing a picture of a baby scan alongside a ‘pregnancy bible’ book.

Kian wrote: “Look at what wifie is reading again! Here we go again #jodialbert baby no.3 is on the way!!!”

Jodi also expressed her excitement by writing on her own Instagram: “Looks like I might be needing this again… baby no3!”

Jodi and Kian previously spoke about the difficult births Jodi suffered during her first two pregnancies to Koa and Zeke.

In an interview with OK! Magazine in 2015 Jodi revealed that she was told that she would have to have a caesarean with her second child Zeke as he was breech.

The couple admitted it was a difficult process second time round despite it being a whole lot shorter compared to her first 21-hour labour.

Jodi told the mag at the time: “There was no pain but I could feel hands in my stomach rummaging about, which was really strange. I’d take labour pains any day.

“It was such a massive rush of emotions. I felt like the broken heart that I had from my mum was closing a little bit because he was here, safe and healthy.”

And just months before giving Jodi have birth, her mum Eileen tragically passed away following her battle with terminal cancer.

Kian said: “Jodi’s mum Eileen, passed away in February and, when we found out Jodi was pregnant, we discovered her due date was around Eileen’s birthday.

“Then the doctor gave us the date of May 21st – Jodi’s mum’s birthday.”

Jodi added: “We were told Mum’s cancer was terminal and that she only had a few months to live a week before I discovered I was pregnant with Zeke.

“It broke my heart that my mum wasn’t going to meet the baby, but it was so special that he would share the same birthday.”
